Music 4 Children & Defcon Workshops Are Now Official Partners Defcon Workshops has teamed up with international Charity -  Music 4 Children.   This means we will be collaborating on projects and joining forces to teach music to the youth of the world. Music 4 Children Registered charity Music 4 Children was founded in 2004 by a group of musicians. Aware of the situation that orphaned children in Nepal were facing after having witnessed the conflict, they decided to do something to help. Disillusioned by the way money donated to charity wasn’t necessarily going directly to the cause, they decided to form Nepal Balbalika trust {NBT}. The goal, to build an eco self-sufficient shelter for these children, using music as a tool to fundraise and break down the barriers of religion and creed. Music4Children holds the Guinness world record for the world’s highest gig (on mount Everest) and the world’s longest gig (continuous music for 44 hours). Music4Children is volunteered based and relies purely on the good will of those who have a love for music, helping the next generation reach their potential while targeting those who wouldn't usually have the opportunity.
